The Challenge
A 1970s property had a warren of small rooms that didn't suit modern living. The owners wanted to remove walls to create open-plan living while maintaining structural integrity.
Our Solution
Working with a structural engineer, we installed steel beams to allow removal of load-bearing walls. The kitchen, dining room, and living room became one flowing space.
The Outcome
Walls removed, steel beams installed, open-plan living achieved
A completely transformed ground floor that feels twice the size. Natural light now reaches the centre of the house, and the family can cook, eat, and relax together.
